vintage photos

on old album page. on both sides. one side has 7 photos. the other side holds 9 photos.

most of them are of places, events at the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition held here in San Francisco.

one is captioned "from hill behind Chilton Street"... which is a street down in the Glen Park neighborhood off of Bosworth.

several of uniformed people marching... one is rather ghostlike (wrong exposure or something like that)

tower of jewels. the bowman on top of the building. I think several of the Palace of fine arts.

one of child on steps of Mill Valley.

one perhaps taken on the ferry in of the ferry building. Maybe or perhaps one of the Exposition buildings... when louped you can see the huge letters (um, tiny in the photo) spelling out Welcome to the Panama Pacific Exposition.

another perhaps taken on the water or on the shore... with rowboat in sight and large steamship? in background.

The black paper of the album page is worn, is Very Fragile, has chips missing, is cracked. and just cracked a little more when I handled it.

the pictures are a bit faded or fading. all have waviness from the glue with which they are attached.

one is really fuzzy or faded or both... but some architectural features can be made out.

some of the pictures are creased particularly to their left sides. one is torn.
