This is an old antique Victorian era signed Paul De Longpre celluloid over a chromolithograph print vanity dresser mirror from estate. This is selling AS IS due to a cracked mirror which can be replaced possibly. My price is according to condition. I have only seen this mirror twice at shows. One dealer wanted $1800.00 and other wanted $1200.00. The front is 10 1/2" by 10 1/2" and is 33" across when open by 11" with feet. The front celluloid features two red roses and five rose buds. There is a 3/4" by 3/4" burn hole and a 3/8" by 3/8" burn hole. An artist could touch it up if it bothered you. The celluloid is vibrant and in wonderful condition otherwise. The other panel is two yellow pink peach roses with three pink buds. The celluloid is in beautiful condition with vibrant colors. The clasp is nice. There are two tiny holes on metal top frame where the missing chain was. See photo. The left front mirror is cracked and has two tiny cracks in lower corner. See photo. The other two beveled mirrors are in very good condition. The cardboard back has a spot on the bottom corner. See photo. To sum it up you have two burn holes and a cracked mirror with no chain. The litho is vibrant and this is stunning in person. It displays beautifully. Thanks for looking.
