INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:  Sorry, I'm not offering international sales at this time (except to Canada).

CANADIAN BIDDERS:  I cannot offer individual quotes, and cannot properly calculate the shipping cost using the Ebay calculator.  You will be charged actual USPS Priority International price after the completion of the action.  You will have the right to refuse the purchase with no repercussions if you do not agree to the price.

I'm selling off my entire HT, from equipment to room accessories.  I'm an avid videophile, and take meticulous care of all my equipment.  I unconditionally guarantee any item I sell to be exactly as described (both cosmetically and functionally), and not DOA.  I'm building a new house, and would like to start fresh equipment-wise so everything I have must go.

Please check my feedback.  I have sold high-end/high-dollar items to every continent (except Antarctica :), and maintain a perfect feedback record.  I also have positive feedback and a long-standing account on AVSForum (Axatax).

EDIT:  Sorry, pictures came out poor, and Ebay further compressed them.  If you want a specific picture, ask and you shall receive.  (4MP camera).

This is it, the little kahuna (brother of the big kahuna... :)

Selling my HLD-X9, Entech CVSI-1, and Pioneer RFD-1 as a package.  Includes all original Japanese manuals, remote, professionally reproduced and bound service manual (reproduced by Pioneer), and a number of brand-new, in box, spare parts in the Pioneer OEM boxes.

Where to start?  ... :)

The X9:  I am the second owner of this player.  I have put approximately four hours on this player since acquiring it in 2008 (for testing purposes).  I purchased this player from the original owner who imported the unit from HK and kept this player as a spare.  It is functionally perfect, with no visible deviation in alignment.  No funny noises, no herringbone, no BS.  There is a *single* cosmetic flaw on the player:  a 1-1.5mm scratch on the top of the player on the front bezel.  That's it, and it's only apparent if you're standing over the deck, and carefully contemplating the top surface.  Front, sides, and back are perfect.  Any other "junk" in the photography is the result of my fingerprints and camera flash.  Get that JDM feel without the whiny VTEC or obnoxious exhaust.

X9 remote:  Used to program my Creston system (also for auction, check back soon), then placed back in the plastic.  Perfect with the exception of the usual *hairline* scratches on the IR cover.

CVSI-1:  Nearly mint, with some *very* slight marks in the matte brushed aluminum case.  Again, the unit has to be studied under light to observe any of these flaws.  Function is perfect.  No manual or original box.

RFD-1:  Mint.  Perfect function.  MAY have manual, no promises/guarantees (have to look), does not include original box.

Pioneer spares:  All of these items are brand-new in the Pioneer packaging - MUSE red laser pickup, spindle motor, drawer motor, pickup stepper motor, (2) belts, (2) spindle rubber hub (not sure what this is really called - it is the rubber "hub" the disc rests on).  This covers what I understand is every moving part in the player with the exception of the fan.

CVSI-1 and RFD-1 include AC adapters/cables.  Ebay won't let me post any more pictures. :(

Generic "JC-200J" 200W US-JP wall transformer:  Cheap junk, ugly as sin.  It works.  Don't use it in the bathtub, or in the state of California.

You'd be *really* hard pressed to do better than this unless you find that mythical "X9 in the box".  Haven't seen once since 2003.

Good luck.  Questions welcome,
Jeff

Here are close-ups of the scratch. The second is an extreme macro shot, and greatly exaggerates the size of the scratch. It is approx. 1-1.5mm total length.

I've received a considerable amount of requests (nearly 40) to provide a better photograph of the scratch: I'm afraid I'm at the limits of what my camera is capable of, and any higher resolution photographs are probably entering the realm of microscopy or very specialized equipment. Please keep in mind this scratch is under 2mm in total length, and I offer a two week guarantee on the player.
