1970 Camaro Z28 Tribute. Real V8 Camaro, but not a numbers matching example (those of you that know these cars, know you couldn't get a big block Z-28). Mild build, pump gas friendly 396 big block Chevy engine with iron heads, mild lope cam, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 800CFM double pumper carb, long tube headers, Mallory HEI distributor. A Muncie 4-speed transmission shifts the gears and routes the power to a 3.73:1 geared 10 bolt rear end. Old school slapper traction bars out back to keep the BFG T/A Radials planted to the ground. 15" color keyed Z-28 wheels are backed up with front power assisted disc brakes and drums in the rear. Very nice, rust free and straight body with driver-plus quality black paint and silver Z-28 stripes. Steel aftermarket cowl hood provides room for the medium riser intake and carb setup. Tall rear spoiler along with the front air dam finishes off the Z-28 look on the outside. The car is a factory vinyl top car and has a very nice black top in place with zero signs of rust or issues underneath it. Interior wise, there are new seat covers on 71 and later highback front seats as well as new black carpet throughout. A crack-free dash pad, nice original door, kick and rear seat side panels are all in good original condition as well. There is a split in the headliner, but our intent is to get that repaired before the new owner takes delivery of this beauty! The car also has a killer sound system with a Pioneer head unit, dual Rockford Fosgate 500 series amps and speakers all throughout the cabin to provide all the music you need if you decide you don't want to listen to the sweet sounds of the big block!! The underside of this car is super clean, solid and painted in chassis black, to show off the cleanliness!! While this is NOT a number matching car, and probably not for the purists, it IS a good looking, fun and quick early second gen Camaro at an extremely attractive price for all it brings to the table!!
