For 60th anniversary of the famous Air Commando Group, Xezo created the Air Commando timepiece. Each and every part of the Air Commando’s 44mm-diameter, elaborately produced case performs a specific task and allows the timepiece to have some functions of a chronograph. The outer-rotating bezel records elapsed time in minutes or seconds. The inner rotating bezel
records elapsed time in hours or as additional time zone. And the accurate, Swiss-made ETA 2836-2 mechanical, automatic-winding movement--fitted with a stop second device, and shock absorber--provides precision and reliability as legendary as the watch’s namesake. Built to last, the Air Commando is made with two screw-down crowns and a tough surgical-quality, stainless-steel case water-resistant to 200 meters. The case is topped with scratchproof sapphire crystal glass on both its front and back; the front sapphire crystal features a magnified date. The dial displays easy-to-read numerals and hands in blued steel finish.
The hour-markers dots and hands are luminescent (Superluminova).
