 Why Snappy® Drill Bit Adapters ? 

Snappy Drill Bit Adapters are designed to hold many different types of drill bits.  The 1/4" Hex Head allows you to use them in a Quick Change Chuck, Standard Chuck or, even an Impact Driver.  A spring steel collet in each adapter securely grips the bit when the nut is tightened.  Each collet adapter will accept  a bit that is .002" larger  to .015" smaller than the listed size.  This means you can use a range of drill sizes in each adapter including  letter, number or metric series drill bits. ( See above photo for the range of sizes that will fit. The list is included.) If you break a bit,  just loosen the collet, insert the good half and continue working!
