A unique opportunity to buy these three adorable handmade elephants who, just like the orphaned elephants currently in our care, have a protective blanket to shield them from the sun and cold. Much like the elephants at the orphanage, we hope this trio will find a good home.
Our warmest thanks go to Jane Polley who has hand made these beautiful gifts for us.

Help us save wild lives today and secure habitats for the future.
For ten days, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) is offering you the chance to bid on some beautifully handcrafted items kindly donated by some of our supporters. See the full list of items!
Every US $100 raised is enough to fund
a Wildlife Show for Kenyan school children, teaching them about their
environment and the importance of their priceless natural heritage.
Every US $50 raised
will feed two baby orphaned elephants for a day.
100% of proceeds from the sale will go to the DSWT, supporting projects that help save the lives of elephants, black rhinos and other endangered wildlife in Kenya.
Tragically, elephants and rhinos are being killed in escalating numbers for their ivory tusks and horns respectively, due to a growing demand for ivory and rhino horn from China and the Far East. The DSWT is working at a field level in Kenya to protect and conserve wildlife, through the deployment of Anti-Poaching Teams, Aerial Surveillance Units and Mobile Veterinary Teams, alongside these teams, the DSWT’s Orphans’ Project exists to rescue and hand-rear orphaned elephants and rhinos, all too often the victims of poaching, so that they might ultimately return to the wild when grown.
With your help, we can make a real difference to the protection and conservation of habitats in Kenya. You can find out more about our wildlife projects by visiting www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org
