In critical situations stealth design, high mobility, modern surveillance systems, optimal protection and high a performance armourment are the key elements. In its class, the BOXER Motorised Armoured Transport Vehicle is superior to its rivals in all of these points. It s modular construction enables it to carry eight fully equipped infantrymen into action in the Section Transport Module. A FLW 200 Weapons Platform, fitted with either a 12.7 mm machine gun or a 40 mm grenade launcher as well as a multiple launch unit - serve as defensive armorment. Delivery of 272 BOXER s to the the Bundeswehr German Armed Forces) began in September 2009. The Netherlands Armed Forces will also receive the BOXER from 2011 onwards. It replaces, depending on the model - the "Fuchs" and the "M113" Armoured Transport Vehicles. Our model represents the production unit from 2011. Corresponding to the original unit, it has separate driving and mission modules representing the vehicles modular construction. The moveable FLW 200 can be fitted out as required. A driving position can also be fitted and is visible through a moveable hatch.

Most of the items we sell are plastic model kits which require construction. Images may show a completed model which has been built and painted.
This is to show what can be achieved with this kit but some skill, effort and additional items will be needed to finish the model.
Unless otherwise specified they require paints and glue which are NOT included in the kit and need to be purchased separately.
