 Soft Tyvek 14M is 5.3 mils in thicknesss and weighs 1.2 ounces per square yard, a wonderful versatile material with proven applications that are only limited by your imagination. In other words, there are many ways to use this very strong and durable but very light material.  This type is not waterproof, but is water resistant. The ideal material for anyone that loves the outdoors - day hikers, campers and especially great for the long distance ultralight backpackers to use as ground cloth sheet.

 This sheet of Tyvek is ALL SOLID WHITE on both sides and at 5.3 mils. [ Tyvek 14M is the lightest sheet available]

This material can be used for tent footprints or ground cloth sheets.

Tyvek 14M is water, mold and mildew resistant

The roll is 4 feet 6 inches wide [54 inches] by whatever length you choose.

I've been interested in Tyvek fabrics for quite some time, and this is an exceptional use for it. Groundsheets can be made lighter, and without needing to be completely waterproof, provides a good water resistant barrier, and is highly abrasion resistant. For this reason some people say they shouldn't be used as a primary tarp, because they can leak a little water, but for a groundcloth, there's nothing better.

 

TO ORDER:

Put the number of feet you want in the quantity box,

 for example if you want 5 feet put a "5" in the quantity box and your Tyvek sheet will be 5 feet by 55 inches.

Or if you need 10 feet, put a "10" in the quantity box and your Tyvek sheet will be 10 feet by 55 INCHES.
