This is a semi-vintage 1988 Les Paul Junior. While there are some minor scratches and replacements, the body is mahogany, and the neck is also a mahogany set-neck construction.
The body is a double-cutaway with a solid 44mm thickness (measured), and the neck is a thin 60s slim taper type. It has a dry, resonant tone with excellent resonance and clarity.
The bridge is a stop-tail design, and the tuners are Kluson green-key tuners. The vintage-like specifications are very authentic and cool.
This is a truly authentic guitar with a genuine sound and presence, typical of its era. The pickups have been custom replaced.
Currently, it has Seymour Duncan P-90 type pickups (sticker 1BJ on the back). They produce a clean, brilliant, dry, and crisp bell-like tone, yet they have a well-balanced and polished sound.
There is a slight roughness in the pickup routing, likely from the pickup replacement process, but it is mostly hidden by the pickups and not very noticeable. There are some scratches and customizations, but the overall condition is good.
The exterior shows some scratches, signs of age and use, and is in player's condition. Besides the roughness of the pickup routing mentioned earlier, there is paint peeling next to the pickguard, and there are quite a few scratches on the body and headstock, but it has a realistic vintage-like look and presence, and combined with the specifications and color, it looks cool.
It is in good condition. In terms of playability, there are some minor wear points, but the neck, frets, pickups, and electronics are in good playability and are in good playing condition.
A Gibson original hard case is included. This is a 1988 Les Paul Junior, in player's condition, with some scratches and replacements.
