Salvia lyrata 'Purple Volcano' 20 Seeds

 This variety has been specially bred as a foliage plant, with rosettes of deep bronze-purple leaves. Beautifully veined and held in outstretched layers on low-growing plants, they keep their color through summer as the plant grows quickly to its mature size. In autumn, the plant transforms itself again, the foliage turning bright crimson and scarlet. And when frost comes, this plant keeps its above ground growth, remaining evergreen in all but the harshest climates. From mid-spring through early summer, the plants are topped by long, slender stems crowded with small, delicate blooms that open pale purple and mature to silver and white, which themselves, on an ordinary green-leaved plant, would gain much attention. 

This is a self-sowing plant, so it makes a fine mass planting in open settings and large areas. It tolerates sun or shade, and thrives in just about any well-drained soil, from heavy clay to sand, from rich loam to poor dry dust. This is very easy, low-maintenance plant.

1.      I will answer all questions about an item before your purchase.

2.      I will dig up fresh, healthy plants right before shipping. All plants will be treated against insects and diseases (preventive care) before shipping.

3.      I will package the plants, bulbs, and seeds well for safe delivery.

4.      I will take a picture, with date and time included, of each package before shipping as proof of the quality (bulbs and live plants).

5.      I will ship the package (live plants) by priority shipping through USPS with delivery confirmation which should take less than two days to be delivered, depending on location.

6.      I am not accountable for weather conditions or improper care of the item received.

7.      My responsibility ends when a live plant (bulbs, seeds) is delivered to your door. It will arrive live to you, it is then up to you to keep it alive.

8.      I am not at fault if you do not have enough experience with a plant and damage it in the course of planting, watering, care, etc. When buying seeds you receive the same ones that I use in my garden. I check a sample of my seeds to make sure they germinate. Since I do not know how or in what conditions you plant the seeds, please do not message me about whether or not they have germinated. 

9.      I cannot be held accountable for any medical conditions which may arise after receiving your item; e.g. allergies. It is up to you to determine if you should buy these plants (bulbs, seeds).

10.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to check your state regulations before you order. I am not responsible for mishaps, such as the destruction of plant, due to those regulations.

11.  If you receive a package which is damaged you must file a complaint with your local post office, I cannot control the way the package is handled during transit. All packages which sent by priority mail have $50 insurance. Please do NOT send me messages a week after receiving your plant claiming it arrived damaged.  After you receive the item you must contact me within 48 hours if there are any problems with the package, after that time I will assume the plant died in your care.

12.  I will not return the shipping difference if your package was sent at a lower price.  The shipping cost is the same for all buyers in the USA, regardless of where it is being shipped.
