Pre-owned original UK PAL release of Atari Anthology for the Sony PlayStation 2, complete and in excellent condition.
Atari Anthology is a feature‑rich retro game compilation that brings together more than 80 classic Atari arcade and Atari 2600 titles, offering an expansive celebration of early video‑game history. The collection includes iconic games such as Asteroids, Battlezone, Centipede, Missile Command, Tempest, Pong, and dozens of beloved 2600 favourites, all presented through a polished 3D interface that organizes titles by genre and platform. Gameplay is enhanced with inventive Challenge Modes—like Trippy Mode, Time Warp, and Double Speed—that add fresh twists to the classics, while bonus content such as original manuals, artwork, interviews, and visual filters deepens the nostalgic experience. Both single‑player and multiplayer options are supported, giving players a variety of ways to enjoy the massive library. Upon release, Atari Anthology was praised for its generous selection, faithful emulation, and thoughtful presentation, and today it’s fondly remembered as one of the most comprehensive and lovingly assembled retro compilations on the PS2.
