For QUICK ACCELERATION 14/46t gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's, easier wheelies), SILVER SPROCKET
Request a 14t (-1t) front sprocket during checkout in the "Add Message" tab.
The -1t sprocket variation will make your bike quicker off the line, but will be higher RPM's at freeway speeds with lower top speed.
If you ever want to go back to stock gearing, a 15t still fits with the same chain length supplied with this kit.
For MILD QUICK ACCELERATION 14/45t gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's, easier wheelies), BLACK SPROCKET
Request a 14t (-1t) front sprocket and 45t (-1t) rear sprocket during checkout in the "Add Message" tab.
The -1t / -1t sprocket variation will make your bike quicker off the line, but will be higher RPM's at freeway speeds. (not as extreme as reg. QA)
If you ever want to go back to near stock gearing, a 15t still fits with the same chain length supplied with this kit.
For FREEWAY GEARING 15/43t FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER FREEWAY RPM's in top gear, BLACK SPROCKET
Request a 43t (-3t) rear sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab.
The -3t rear sprocket variation will make your bike slower off the line, but will be much lower RPM's at freeway speeds
For FREEWAY GEARING 16/46t FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER FREEWAY RPM's in top gear, SILVER SPROCKET
Request a 16t (+1t) front sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab.
The +1t front sprocket variation will make your bike slower off the line, but will be much lower RPM's at freeway speeds.

For MILD FREEWAY GEARING 15/45t SLIGHTLY FASTER TOP SPEED, and SLIGHTLY LOWER FREEWAY RPM's in top gear, BLACK SPROCKET

The -1t rear sprocket variation will make your bike very slightly slower off the line, but will be a little lower RPM's at freeway speeds.

EXACT OEM RATIO 15/46t is the "Happy Medium" of low end and top end throttle response with the least amount
of compromise on either end. Exact OEM is the DEFAULT for this listing that will be sent unless otherwise specified. SILVER SPROCKET
Teeth and Sizes Explained...
** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change. (-1 Ft. = +3 Rr)
** A +1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as -3t rear sprocket change. (+1 Ft = -3 Rr)
** A -1t front and -1t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +2t rear only change with stock front sprocket. (Mild QA ratio)
** A +/- 1t only rear sprocket change is a VERY mild ratio change.
** If you gear your motorcycle for Quicker Acceleration, it will be Slower on the top end of your power band.
If you gear your motorcycle for Top End (Faster Top Speed, lower top gear cruising rpm's) it will be slower
off the line and less responsive in lower rpm's.
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain.
Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference.
The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets,
and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...
** A larger rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a longer chain, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only
will use the same chain length.
