This Road bike in good conditions is equipped with a 2x9 Dura Ace 7700 groupset
and with one of the first HED JET Wheelsets produced, the J2.
The Jet 2 already have hidden spoke endings with the nipples just on top of the hubs.
This buries several advantages: the inverted nipple position makes this wheelset
even for todays standards very aera and it reduces centrifugal forces for optimized
acceleration.
The bike, one of Ernesto Collages nicest frame jobs,
is a consistent composition of Gilco Carbon muffed tubes and Colnago branded components:
- the original Carbon STAR Colnago fork
- Colnago Carbon seat post
- ITM pantographed attack
- Colnago marked Headset cap
Not surprisingly the bike is equipped with an AREO Carbon handlebar with a fitting fibre
pattern and Vintage-Lovers notorious Selle Italia Flite Evolution Carbon-Kevlar interwoven 99gr light saddle.
I polished the Dura-Ace FC 7700 crank arms to old glory. The shiny surface compensate the
now missing Dura-Ace Logos.
I reluctantly dispose of this beautiful bike composure and hope that another one has as much fun
as I did with this italian jewel.
