Vintage Nutone Scovill A-64176 Wired Doorbell Chimes

UP for bid is a used doorbell chime.
My guess it's more than 40 years old (house built in 1972).
It works but makes a humming noise and occasionally rings for no reason.
My guess is that it could use a replacement transformer?

I would probably throw this away, but perhaps there's an eBay seeker looking for this or something like it.
