Kenwood KR-11000GX Stereo Receiver

Very few audio component manufacturers can make the boast of contributing to the advancement of audio reproduction as-a-whole. Throughout the years Kenwood has innovated and perfected technology, taking sound fidelity to new heights and elevating the bar of technological maturity. They were the 1st Japanese company to develop and manufacturer an FM tuner and a solid state amplifier. They were the world’s first manufacturer of an integrated multi-channel amplifier. They also pioneered the first DC design dual power supply for integrated amplifiers. Kenwood’s illustrious past is full of products that have set the benchmark for performance, innovation and reliability; a good reason why Kenwood has grown into one of the largest consumer electronic corporations in the world.
The Kenwood KR11000GX (Euro version of the Eleven GX) is a high performance stereo receiver released in the late 1970’s. It was the swan song of the beloved 11 Series that started many years prior. The KR11000GX contains more bells and whistles then just about any stereo receiver ever produced including a built-in shut off timer.
Sonically the Super Eleven is a tremendous performer. It provides 120 watts per channel RMS of power in a clean, clear, highly musical fashion. The tuner section is absolutely amazing, rivaling that of much more expensive stand-alone units.

Receiver has been tested and is working nicely. Both channels play strong and clear, all features and functions are working, including meters and lamps. Cosmetically it is very clean. If you spend some time looking you will find a scratch or two, but mitering major.
