Disclaimer:
This auction is for a unit that I have buyers for- but noone has commited yet so it's still up for grabs. This auction is somewhat my backup plan, because I want to sell the unit shortly. If you are interested, you have to be quick.

Edit: New, significantly lower price!

I have a Scanmate 11000 for sale which is a complete package- including the manual, drum mounting station, calibration slides, even the key dongles for older version of ColorQuartet and the wooden trunk the scanner came in.
The scanner has a mileage of about 2-3 months of work, rest of the time the unit spent in a dry place in the wooden trunk. This is the most unique thing about it- it's not a refurbished unit, it's almost brand new.
What is unique about this scanner and believe it or not- very rare is that it actually has NO ISSUES / FLAWS, it's in perfect working condition.
I tested the unit extensively, my findings is that:
-focus calibration is spot on and works every time
-white calibration is spot on as well, perfect color balance / "exposure" of scanned material without any color calibration needed other than white calibration
- NO RED CHANNEL DOMINANCE (most of the units are prone to this error)
- NO SHADOW CLIPPING (majority of units suffer from this as well)
- NO  DIGITAL NOISE IN DARK AREAS
- REGISTER ERROR TEST PASSED WITH SUCCESS/WITHIN MANUFACTURER'S NORM (the "jagginess")

I can drop test files to confirm these tests. Also some samples, although I don't have super sharp photographic material I can show off. That's why I did something else- I glued a piece of tape with my fingerprint and dust to the drum and scanned it- the detail is unbelievable, perfectly sharp even at 11 000 DPI.

It's a complete scanning solution, the package includes:
- Scanmate 11000 scanning unit in mint condition- almost no signs of wear, fully working condition
- two acrylic drums in great condition- yes, you are getting a spare one so you don't need to worry about anything if something happens to one of them (for instance accidental drop, scratching, etc); both drums are in great condition and with wet mounting should give no significant additional work in post-processing, other than some usual dust removal.
- calibration transparents for focus and color
- Colorquartet original manual
- Scanmate original manual
- SCSI compatible/working cable
- SCSI terminator
- mounting station (very rare item)
-original wooden trunk for the Scanmate 11000
- more documentation and peripherals (please see photos)

So to sum up, I am selling an almost brand new Scanmate 11000 unit, which is said to be one of top 3 scanning markets on the market, yielding a 3-micrometer aperture (only two scanners I'm aware of that have this aperture is ICG380 and Howtek top model).

Shipping might be tricky, I am listing it as a local pickup only item, but I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE. Please contact me to get a shipping quote, I will try to find the safest / the most inexpensive shipping solution out there. Of course the best would be if you could pick it up in person. The unit with the trunk will weight about 60 kg.
Also you can contact me regarding a lower price.
