Programming Instructions:
Note: You will need to use the valet switch to perform the programming procedure.
It is possible to perform programming without the valet switch but you would need to access the receiver under the dash.
How to program your transmitters:
Before you begin, your system must be in a disarmed state and you must know where your valet switch is located. If you are unfamiliar with your valet switch, If you know where your valet switch is, perform the following steps:
1) Turn the vehicle's ignition to the "on" position
2) Within 7 seconds of step 1, press the valet switch 5 times. The alarm should respond with a long siren chirp.
3) Press the large/ lock button on your remote (for Freedom 500, C-5, and K9 Mundial2, press 2nd or 3rd channel. For MARS-22, press Lock & Unlock at the same time). The alarm should respond with a short siren chirp.
4) Repeat step 3 for each additional remote that is to operate the system (up to 4 remotes).
Note: the system will automatically exit programming mode if it detects a 15 second period of no activity.
