Up for auction is this incredibly rare blue pyriform font cut honeycomb pattern with brass connector, No. 1 collar, brass reeded stem and double-step opaque white glass foot with stamped brass ornamentation.

Comes with a period Bridgeport rectangular burner and chimney.

This lamp was last sold in 2018 through Jeffrey Evans Auctions, as part of the Catherine Thuro Collection. There is not much information out there or others like this lamp. The shape of font and alabaster suggests it’s 1850-60’s.

Excellent condition, font undamaged, foot with a small chip and expected minor flakes/roughness to edges, upper step with an annealing line, collar with light splits.

This measures 10 inches to the top of the collar and 18 inches overall.
