DESCRIPTION: Vintage original photograph, shows Colorado State Capitol Building in Denver.
From the collection of Sgt. Norman C. Koenig, who served in the army during World War II, 1941-44. To the best of our knowledge, Mr. Koenig was from Swanville or Little Falls Minnesota, born in 1917, and died in 1994. His parents were Otto and Bertha (Vanselow) Koenig, and he had two brothers, Howard and Gordon, and a sister Bernadine Koenig Ganz. Sgt. Koenig was stationed at New Castle Army Air Base in Wilmington, Delaware. This collection of photos chronicles his travels through the United States in the early 1940s.
