Description: An excellent pen ink architectural, watercolour on artist's paper, signed and dated '95 (1995) - approx 9 X 7 inches (23 x 18 cm). This is an excellent Modern English Watercolour dating from the late 20th Century period. Tewkesbury Abbey is set against a pink tinged winter sky, the grounds, trees and roof line highlighted in bodycolour to pick out a covering of snow. The work is finely detailed in pen, ink and watercolour wash. The work is titled "Snow at Tewkesbury Abbey 1995". The Abbey of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Tewkesbury in the English county of Gloucestershire is the second largest parish church in the country and a former Benedictine monastery. The work is signed and dated lower right - '95 (1995) .
