Description: An excellent landscape, watercolour on artist's paper, signed and dated '91 for 1991 and framed - approx 22 x 16 inches (56 x 41 cm). This is an excellent English Modernist watercolour dating from the late 20th Century period depicting a fabulous view of an isolated remote farmstead in a winter landscape. Highlighted in bodycolour, the wet road glistens in the sunlight, mature oak trees stand with their branches bare, crows flying above. Light beams down on the buildings from the blue clouded sky above. A stunning landscape with beautiful rich brown hues. The work is signed and dated lower left - '91 for 1991.
