Description: A good botanical watercolour on artist's paper, signed "J. Keane" and dating circa 1950s. Framed - This is a good English School watercolour dating from the mid c20th period. The botanical depicts a colourful study of poppies in a naturalistic form on a green blue mottled ground. The petals have vibrant orange yellow petals.The work is signed "J. Keane" lower right.

Framing: Later plain moulded Pine. Finish: Gilt.The watercolour is mounted on board and has a off-white mount.

Date: circa 1950

Condition: The artist's paper has mellowed with age, although the watercolour still generally retaining good bright colour.
