Description: A fine architectural watercolour on artist's paper dating circa 1880 - 1900, framed - This is a fine English School watercolour dating from the Victorian period. The architectural depicts a finely detailed study of a church set in a rural landscape. The road sweeps round flanked by neat borders and lawns surrounded by matured trees and gushes. Steps lead up to large gates beyond which grave stones can be seen, the beautiful Norman church with its turretted tower standing beneath a blue clouded sky. There is a framer's sticker, verso, for Bradley Pass and Co., Liverpool".

Framing: Contemporary plain moulded Wood. Finish: Gilt.The watercolour is mounted on board and has a gilt mount.

Condition: Condition: The painting retains good colour for its age. There are a few minor foxing marks in the sky area. The frame has a few minor marks and abrasions consistent with age, adding to character and authenticity.
