Description: A fine townscape print on artist's paper dating circa 19th Century, unframed - approx 4 X 6 inches (10 X 15 cm).This is a fine English Impressionist print dating from the Victorian period. The townscape depicts a fine 19th Century hand coloured mezzotint print titled "View on the River Exe, Near Exeter". The buildings of the town can be seen on the banks of the river, a weir cascading downstrem flanked by peaceful pastures with cattle grazing and a figure fishing.
Date: The print probably dates to around 19th Century.
Framing: None
Condition: The print retains good colour, the paper having discoloured slightly with age and having one or two marks and signs of foxing adding to characer and authenticity.
