Original Antique Architectural Engraving Print Versailles Vue Bassin de Neptune
Description: An excellent figural print on artist's paper dating circa mid to late 19th Century, framed - approx 9 X 11 inches (23 X 28 cm). This is an excellent French School print dating from the Victorian period. The figural depicts a beautiful hand coloured parkland scene of family and friends gathered around a spectacular water fountain. The engraving is titled "Versailles - Vue du Bassin de Neptune" - Neptune Fountain. A wonderful scene, the figures in colourful attire relaxing on a Sunday afternoon being entertained in the Gardens of Versailles.
Date: The print probably dates to around mid to late 19th Century.
Framing: Later plain moulded Wood. Finish: Mahogany.The print is mounted on board and has a green mount.
Condition: The engraving is in good original condition retaining good colour for its age.
Dimensions: Framed - approx 9 X 11 inches (23 X 28 cm)
